PAVEGov.com.pk aims to publish accurate information about the PAVE Program and electric vehicle schemes in Pakistan. Because scheme details can change and mistakes can happen, this page explains how we check facts and how we correct errors.
How We Fact-Check
Before a guide is published or updated, our editors check the facts that matter most to applicants:
- Subsidy amounts, loan limits and installment calculations
- Eligibility conditions, age limits and quotas
- Registration steps, required documents and official links
- Dates, phases and balloting information
- Official helpline and support contact details
Key facts are verified against the official portal pave.gov.pk and official announcements. News reports are verified before important details are presented as confirmed. More detail is available in our Sources & Research Methodology.
What Counts as an Error
- Wrong figures, such as subsidy, loan or installment amounts
- Wrong or outdated eligibility rules, dates or procedures
- Broken or incorrect official links
- Information presented as confirmed when it was not
- Any wording that could make readers think this website is the official portal
How to Report an Error
If you believe something on our website is incorrect, please email pavegov.com.pk@gmail.com or use our Contact Us page. Please include:
- The link of the page
- The information you believe is wrong
- The correct information and its official source, if available
Please do not send your CNIC number, OTP, password or bank details. We do not need them and we cannot access or change any PAVE application.
How We Handle Correction Requests
- Every request is reviewed by our editorial team.
- We check the claim against official sources.
- Confirmed errors are corrected as quickly as possible, usually within 48 hours for important facts.
- If a request cannot be confirmed from reliable sources, the page is kept as it is, and we may add a note explaining what is officially known.
How Corrections Are Shown
- Minor corrections such as spelling or formatting are fixed without a note.
- Significant corrections that change facts, figures, dates or eligibility rules are fixed and noted on the page with the date of correction.
- Outdated information from an earlier phase is updated or clearly labelled as past information.
- The “Last updated” date on the page is changed after any meaningful update.
Updates vs Corrections
An update happens when official information changes, such as a new phase or revised terms. A correction happens when we published something wrong. We handle both openly so readers always know how current and reliable a page is.
