This page explains where our information comes from and how we research, verify and update our guides about the PAVE Program, EV subsidies, electric bikes, rickshaws and loaders in Pakistan.
We believe readers should know how a guide was prepared before relying on it. PAVEGov.com.pk is an independent website and is not the official PAVE portal. Final and binding information is always the information published on pave.gov.pk.
Our Main Sources
1. Official PAVE Portal
The official portal pave.gov.pk is our primary source for:
- Scheme rules, vehicle categories and number of vehicles
- Subsidy amounts under Bank Lease and Self Finance
- Loan limits, repayment schedule and financing paths
- Age limits, quotas and eligibility conditions
- Official FAQs, helpline (1048) and support email
The portal is operated under the Ministry of Industries & Production, Government of Pakistan, and is powered by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
2. Government Announcements and Notifications
We use official notifications, press releases and statements issued by the Ministry of Industries & Production and other relevant federal and provincial departments.
3. Partner Banks and Approved Manufacturers
For financing and vehicle details, we refer to information published through the official portal about partner banks, approved manufacturers (OEMs), approved models and prices.
4. Provincial Departments
For vehicle registration, excise and provincial EV schemes, we refer to the relevant provincial government and Excise & Taxation department sources.
5. Reputable News Reports
We monitor established Pakistani news outlets to learn about new announcements. News reports are treated as leads, not as final proof. Important details are checked against official sources before we present them as confirmed.
Sources We Do Not Rely On
- Social media posts, WhatsApp forwards and unverified screenshots
- Websites that copy or imitate official portals
- Unconfirmed “last date” or “result” claims without an official source
- AI-generated answers without official confirmation
Our Research Process
Step 1: Identify the Reader’s Question
We start from real questions applicants ask, such as “How do I sign up on the PAVE portal?” or “What is the monthly installment for an electric bike?”
Step 2: Collect Official Information
We read the relevant sections of the official portal, FAQs and notifications, and note the exact figures and conditions.
Step 3: Cross-Check Key Facts
Numbers and conditions that affect decisions, such as subsidy amounts, loan limits, age limits, quotas and dates, are cross-checked with at least one more reliable source where possible.
Step 4: Write in Simple Language
We explain the official process step by step, with practical tips and common mistakes, without changing the meaning of the official rules.
Step 5: Editorial Review
An editor reviews the draft for accuracy, clarity, safety warnings and correct official links before publishing.
Step 6: Publish With a Date
Important pages show a “Last updated” date so readers know how recent the information is.

How Our Tools Work
Our PAVE Eligibility Checker, Installment Calculator and Documents Checklist are built using the publicly announced rules of the PAVE Program, such as:
- Electric bike: Rs 50,000 subsidy under Bank Lease, loan up to Rs 250,000, age 18–65
- Electric rickshaw / loader: Rs 200,000 subsidy under Bank Lease, loan up to Rs 1,100,000, age 21–65
- Self Finance: Rs 80,000 (bike) and Rs 400,000 (rickshaw/loader) transferred after verification
These tools run in your browser, do not save or send your answers, and do not connect to any government database. Their results are estimates. Final eligibility, subsidy and installment amounts are confirmed only on the official portal.
Handling Unclear or Changing Information
- When official sources disagree or are unclear, we explain the difference and advise readers to confirm on the portal.
- When information has not been announced, such as a closing date, we say that it has not been announced.
- When rules change between phases, we mention which phase the information applies to.
