According to a notification issued by the Sindh Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, citizens can now transfer vehicles without mandatory NADRA biometric verification from the seller.

Officials said the decision was taken to simplify the vehicle ownership transfer process and reduce difficulties faced by the public during registration procedures.

Under the latest notification, the biometric exemption for vehicle transfers will remain valid until June 30, 2026, across Sindh.

Authorities have directed all relevant excise offices and departments to fully implement the updated transfer policy throughout the province.

The latest relaxation is expected to benefit thousands of people buying and selling used cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles in Sindh.
